- 01Check material cleanlinessRemove oil, moisture, paint, scale and other contamination using a method suitable for the material.
- 02Inspect the gas pathCheck the cylinder, regulator, hoses, fittings, torch parts and flow setting for leaks or restrictions.
- 03Protect the shielding envelopeAvoid drafts, excessive torch angle and unsuitable travel that can pull air into the weld area.
- 04Record the root causeWhen a defect appears repeatedly, document the confirmed cause and corrective action for future production.
Welding, thermal cutting, lasers and robotic systems can cause serious injury. Use trained personnel, correct PPE, guarding, ventilation and the manufacturer’s instructions.
